Ayurveda
Ayurveda teaches us to cherish our innate-nature “to love and honor who we are”, not as what people think or tell us, “who we should be”.
– Prana Gogia
So, what is Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a holistic healing system from Ancient India which is more than 5000 years old.
Even though it is growing in popularity, most people don’t really know how to define Ayurveda. Is it about herbs and spices? Is it about your body type? Is it some sort of spiritual path?Well, Ayurveda contains all these components, but it is much more than that.
Even though Ayurveda was born in India, it is for everyone, for the whole world. Ayurveda shows us that we are nature, and are a direct reflection of everything that nature is. Once we recognise this direct connection and begin to live in harmony with nature, we then allow our well being to be at its maximum potential.
Ayurveda preserves health in a healthy person via self care incorporating daily rituals and establishing routines.
It also helps to treat the imbalances, illnesses or diseases within the body by looking at the root causes, establishing a lifestyle and correct nourishment by using the following approaches: foods, herbs, Yoga, massages and lifestyle.
Ayurveda allows us to take a step back, away from today’s latest fad diets and hectic routines, in order to apply this beautiful, deep and natural system into every aspect of our lives, in order to feel well and balanced again.
How could I benefit from this science?
Are you feeling anxious and stressed out? Have you have issues sleeping lately? Are you always feeling sluggish, tired, with not much zest for life? Do you feel heavy or bloated after your meals?
If your answer is yes to any of these, or if you can simply relate to these questions in some small way, Ayurveda is definitely your answer.
The first thing we must understand is that Ayurveda works with the root cause of the problems, not the recent symptoms. It dives deep into the core problems, healing from the inside to the outside.
Ayurveda also focuses a great deal on reducing stress and anxiety through a holistic approach. This includes yoga, pranayama and meditation.
It also looks at reducing inflammation, and how to recover from illness.
There are so many benefits of Ayurveda as it gives a 360 approach, and you will find that it will give you a certain peace of mind and calmness to your everyday lifestyle.

Ayurveda is not about solving the issues overnight. It is important to know that the issues need time to be corrected , the body needs its time to heal and strengthen and this is a process that must be done with love, care and patience. The therapy plan and foods recommended are all part of this process, so if you are willing to stick to the plan for at least 3 weeks, we are on the right track to a better, happier YOU!

I understand Ayurveda to be a holistic science and Anjalina did an incredible job at transmitting that sensation. So it allowed me to be very comfortable in the space and also gave me a feeling that I was actually making time for myself as a being (as opposed to how one might feel if they were to go to check out chronic stomach pain at a general practitioner). Anjalina explained how life’s natural ingredients could be used to better the condition and state not only of our physical body, but our mind body, allowing ourselves to make way for the inner self to become more prominent in our lives. I was also left to understand the importance of not only the consumption of particular foods, but correct usage – almost serving as a guideline for how our bodies can or should interact with what nature has to offer us.everything was very clear and detailed. – J C
