We also know that Turmeric is a natural antiseptic and has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties; it helps to cure sunburn too. This is ideal for after the summer when our skin has been over exposed to damaging UV rays. Chickpea flour, also known as besan, is an excellent exfoliant that helps to remove dead cells. It os also a great cleanser.
Try this homemade face mask, its simple, and the best part is that you’ll probably have everything at home!
Post-summer face:
- 1 tablespoon chickpea flour
- Half a teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon Rose Water
Mix all three ingredients and make a thick paste that is thick enough to spread and stick on your skin. Apply it all over the face and neck area and leave it for about 10-15 minutes. Then rinse with tepid water and pat dry with a soft towel. You can do this once a week!
